This site accompanies a senior-level college English course, ENGL4243, at Prairie View A&M University.

Many of the enrolled students plan to teach high school English, and building good resources related to literary analysis, character profiles, lesson plans, and grade-level-appropriate criticism for popular novels in grades 9 through 12 is a service for teachers everywhere.

The novels were selected by consulting relevant TEKS and reading lists for high school English I through IV in Cy-Fair ISD, Houston ISD, and Katy ISD in Texas.
